This week on I, Science Radio was all about the science of documentaries. We discussed the effectiveness of documentaries at teaching science and highlighted the issues associated with the level of trust given to documentary makers. The panel looked into the accuracy of claims made in dietary documentaries and explored the ever looming threat of misinformation and fake news. Finally, we debated the often ignored and highly specific issue of inappropriately matched sounds in nature documentaries.
This week’s I, Science Radio show was hosted by Andrew Dixon and produced by Kathy Grenville. We joined by guests Rachel Ng and Aaron Hadley
