The Imperial Festival 2013 was on Friday 3 May and Saturday 4 May and attracted over 10,000 visitors. I, Science went along and talked to some of the scientists demonstrating their work.

In this episode, Stefan Croniszewski from the Department of Materials explains the special properties of graphene that make it suitable to use in several fields such as DNA sequencing, nanomechanical sensing, and even mobile phone touch screen technology.
