The Imperial Festival 2013 was on Friday 3 May and Saturday 4 May and attracted over 10,000 visitors. I, Science went along and talked to some of the scientists demonstrating their work.
In this episode, Dr Daniel Stuckey describes his work on heart regeneration from stem cells. The work is part funded by the British Heart Foundation and could help patients recover from heart attacks and heart disease. Dr Stuckey demonstrated the work to children who grew stem cells by feeding them with different coloured nutrients.
