The UK is brimming with science venues and science-related events aimed at the general public. But keeping track of what’s on at so many locations takes effort, and it seemed odd to us – and a little frustrating! – that no-one was collating these events.
We therefore started our ***NEW EVENTS LISTING*** purely for our own information, and then decided to extend it and make it public, in the hope that others may also find it useful.
We’ve focused mainly on London because that’s where we live, and because just keeping track of events here is a challenge. But we are open to adding events elsewhere in the UK . We are also finding and adding the events actively ourselves, but are open to suggestions from anyone if they contact us.
The main criterion for inclusion is that these events should be aimed at the general public, not just at scientific peers.
So please check the listing out at isciencemag.co.uk/events/, and you can sign up for a weekly listing of up-coming events here or in the website footer.
To see events within specific venues or categories, either click the categories in any events post, or see all categories here.
Please let us know what you think, or any suggestions you have, by contacting us at iscience-events [AT] imperial.ac.uk. And if you like it, tell your friends and colleagues!
