Natural History Museum Lates

28 April @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Free

The animal kingdom is a noisy place with a language that humans are trying to understand. This month, join us to explore sound in nature.

Animals have evolved to produce sounds in a variety of ways and for many different reasons, including communication, courtship, navigation, and even hunting. The sounds different animals make can be an extremely useful tool for identifying and classifying them. Explore some noisy nature and discover how scientists use sound to monitor biodiversity.
